Game Plans: 3 different plans, ranging from 15.95 a month to 36.95 a month
Description: There is no doubt about it that GameFly
was the first major service provider that let you rent games online.
Not only are they the proprietors, but they are also innovators. They
are always ahead of the curve (as I'm going to prove to you in this gamefly review) when it comes to having better next-gen
console titles (for renting Xbox 360 games and Playstation 3 games).
They have over 6,000 titles which are growing on an constant basis.
Personal Thoughts: In a nutshell, GameFly
is the the best single solution if you want to rent video games online at this
point. They were the first, and they continue to show their colors by
constantly upgrading their services and bringing new games to the table
usually before anyone else.
The only con that I can say they have is
they used to have only one shipping center on the west coast and that
gave the folks (like me) on the east coast a bit of a waiting period
for games. But since then they have added another shipping center in
Pennsylvania, it is the most convenient service out there, and no
matter where you are in the US, you should get your games in about 2-3
days, and what's better is that they offer a free 10 day trial to see
if you like it or not!

GameRang Review
Rating:
Free Trial: Yes - 10 Days
Game Titles: 4,000+ Titles
Shipping Centers: 4 - California, Oklahoma, Minnesota, New Jersey
Shipping Time: 1-2 days Across the US
Supported Consoles: PS3, PS2, PS1, PSP, Xbox 360, Xbox, Wii, Gamecube, Nintendo DS, Gameboy Advanced
Game Plans: 4 different plans, ranging from 17.95 a month to 59.95 a month
Description: GameRang
is a new force on the market, with FOUR shipping centers (which is 4x
more then most places), titles for almost every console including the
original playstation, 4,000+ titles, and a great free trial period. It
also has a rare game plan, 4 games out at any time! This is great for
extreme gamers like myself.
Personal Thoughts: At first when I started reading reviews on GameRang
I was pretty disgusted with what I was seeing. But thank GOODNESS
first impressions aren't everything. I've been using gamerang for
about 2 or 3 months now to rent video games online and I must say it is
one of the BEST services I've ever used. Plus it offers a new feature
that I think is pretty neat. If you rent your video game online and
you decide you like it and you want to keep it, they will sale it to
you for a discounted price and immediately send out the next game on
your que! The only con that this site gets from me is that sometimes
the newer next-gen console (xbox 360, ps3, wii) games were only in
stock about half the time, and the other half of the time you were put
on a "short wait" which is about average as far as these sites go.
With that note, Gamerang gets a SOLID 4.5/5 for me and is one of the
best for the extreme gamers.

Rent Games Online
RentZero Review
Rating:
Free Trial: Yes - 14 Days
Game Titles: 5,000+ Titles
Shipping Centers: 1 - Texas
Shipping Time: 2-3 days (Southern USA), 3-5 Days (Everywhere else)
Supported Consoles: PS3, PS2, Xbox 360, Xbox, Wii, Gamecube,
Game Plans:1 Game : $13.94 | 2 Games : $19.95 | 3 Games: $27.95
Description: RentZero may not be one of the first on the scene, or perhaps maybe
they arent the greatest innovators of the online video game rental
industry, but they are one of the GREATEST services out there. They
follow the old saying "If It Aint Broke, Don't Fix It" and trust me
when I say, nothing is broke about RentZero. RentZero
provides a very simplistic site design which makes it 100x easier to
follow then most (which is great for internet morons such as myself)
and they also provide some of the cheapest prices on the internet to
boot.
Personal Thoughts: While some people might see RentZero's
simple design as a weakness, it really shines through once you hit the
control panel as it makes the site SO much easier to navigate when
compared to even some of the major video game rental companies. Also RentZero is the ONLY online game rental service I've ever
seen send out game manuals with copies of their games. If you consider
that plus the fact that they have some of the cheapest prices around,
it's really easy to get over the 3-5 shipping time if you live outside
of the Southern US area. All-in-all, everyone one from occasional
time-killers to the extreme gamers could use the services of RentZone.
